At its meeting Monday evening, the Topeka Transit Authority board decided to delay its decision to end evening and Sunday service until at least Memorial Day.

The board had originally planned to cut evening and Sunday bus services this Wednesday, but that was postponed until Memorial Day weekend.
Continue reading...Friday morning at 9:00 there will be a meeting of those opposing the cuts (stakeholders) to update everyone on where efforts stand. This meeting will be at 408 Jackson (just north of TILRC on the east side of the street).
